As of October, 2025, Blanche has now decided to enter what I call her “semi-retirement” phase. She will no longer be scheduling face-to-face preparation appointments with clients, and she will no longer be working as many hours during the hectic tax “season”, but she will still be around the office offering her support to Chris in other important administrative ways.
Chris is not going to abandon you! If Blanche prepared your return last year, then Chris is still willing to prepare your return! However, common sense dictates that there are just not enough hours available for Chris to meet with all of his current clients and all of Blanche’s former clients within the limited number of days available. So, if you would like for Chris to prepare your return we ask that you bring your tax records to our office and leave them with us so Chris can work them in. Someone will call you if there are any questions and will notify you when they are completed and ready for your authorization signature to e-file. You will need to come back in to the office during office hours to pick up your copy of the return, sign the authorization form and pay our preparation fee. Please understand that in some cases it may be necessary to file an extension. If so, Chris will take care of filing the extension for you and then complete the return as soon as possible.
